Gucci: Head of industrial operations for leather goods Massimo Rigucci set to leave

Massimo Rigucci is about to leave after 20+ years with Gucci. He is head of the label’s head of industrial operation for leather goods, footwear, and jewelry. In 2018 Rigucci took charge of ArtLab and Gucci’s cutting-edge center for craftsmanship and R&D. 

According to insiders, the current head of industrial head of Prada, Massimo Vian will become the successor of Rigucci. At the end of this month, Massimo Vian will leave the Milanese group and take the position of Rigucci. 

Next month Gucci is likely to conduct organisational changes. A Gucci source told FashionNetwork.com recently 

“Ever since Alessandro Michele’s departure, heads have continued to roll,” 

On the other hand, In September, the formerly executive vice-president and chief brand, Susan Chokachi left after her 25 years with Gucci. She was replaced by Alessio Vannetti. In the previous month, the senior executive vice-president of brand and corporate strategy, Robert Treifus also, aborted the company. 

The Gucci creative studio has also lost several designers, due to its relocation from Rome to Milan. The design director of men’s collections, Daniel Kearns who joined Gucci in 2022 is also resigning.
