Well-known designers include Wood Wood, Baum und Pferdgarten, Lovechild 1979, Henrik Vibskov, and Lovechild.The relaunch of the NewTalent program, backed by Circulose recipient Nicklas Skovgaard and Copenhagen-based advanced modern brand Ganni, is one of the main attractions of the AW24 edition.
Monday’s official opening concert, Skovgaard, will take the stage after the formal reception. Three brands—Sloth Rousing, Martin Quad, and MLGA will get the One To Watch recognition slot for the next edition. These brands will showcase their upcoming collections in a range of mediums.
The CPHFW Sustainability Committee and the CPHFW Show Committee approved the lineup show itself. Established and immensely talented designers like Stamm, Alectra Rothschild/Masculina, and Rolf Ekroth will join the NewTalent program. Lastly apart from all this there will be events , presentations, trade fairs and showrooms will be announced.
The CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, Cecilie Thorsmark said,
“The global reach that Copenhagen Fashion Week continues to garner is testament to the role a fashion week must play in expecting positive change from international and Nordic leaders in the fashion industry. By implementing Copenhagen Fashion Week as a key cultural activation we are proposing new definitions of what a fashion week can symbolise, with our continued growth only underlining this.”
